Robert is a Partner and Investment Director of Inventages (www.inventages.com), a venture capital firm with funds under management in excess of US $1 billion. He is a member of the Inventages’ investment committee and currently serves on the Board of Directors of several companies in the U.S. and Europe. His key activities include R&D and product development support, negotiations of business agreements, financing activities, M&A transactions and IPO activities.
Robert’s qualifications include:
- An MBA from the European University, Montreux, Switzerland and Center for Management Studies, Munich, Germany
- A Doctorate in applied microbiology and cell genetics from the University of Agriculture, Institute of Applied Microbiology, Vienna, Austria and the University of California, Departments of Anesthesia & Pharmaceutical Chemistry, San Francisco, U.S.
- A Masters degree in pharmaceutical sciences from the University of Vienna, Austria
After his postgraduate research at the University of California, San Francisco, he held several positions in research, product development and management at European Biotech companies MorphoSys AG and Xerion Pharmaceuticals AG. Prior to joining Inventages, Robert was Investment Director Life Sciences at VCH Equity Group AG, Bayreuth, Germany. |
