Commenting on the appointment, ImmBio Managing Director, Dr Camilo Colaco comments: “I am delighted to welcome Alan Goodman to the ImmBio Board.  His extensive experience in the biotechnology sector and particularly in the vaccine industry will guide us though our transition from start-up phase into pre-clinical development later this year”.  “Though most people know Alan as a seasoned biotechnology entrepreneur, he has a long history in the vaccine industry originally with the purchase of Evans Vaccines and Wellcome Biotech for Medeva and more recently the purchase of Oravax for Acambis”, he added.

“The recent SARS epidemic and influenza outbreak in China serve as a reminder that infectious diseases represent the most significant threat to global healthcare and ImmunoBiology has the technology to address the significant need for new and better vaccines in the healthcare industry globally” commented Mr Goodman.
