ImmBio Therapeutics Ltd is a sister company to ImmBio, established to use HspC technology to identify therapeutic products in otherwise difficult-to-address areas.

ImmBio Therapeutics is working in collaboration with Babraham Institute on the platform and has also been awarded a Proof of Principle grant from the East of England Development Agency (“EEDA”).

Key advantages of the platform being developed are

• It provides a rapid and cost-effective platform for multiple pathogens, including otherwise-difficult targets such as where the key antigens are not known nor have significant strain drift/variation.
• HspCs are the key mediators in the immune response and therefore the therapeutic approach mirrors and augments the normal response. A strong and efficacious response is therefore expected.
• Another consequence of the approach mirroring the normal course of pathogen defence is that the safety profile is expected to be excellent.
